October 26, 2011 – Several members of the Big Lake Women’s Institute converged at the Mindemoya Hospital Site to present a cheque for $1080 to Angela Becks (Fundraising Committee Chair) and Derek Graham (CEO).

The donation was made in memory of one of their members, Wilma Love Metcalfe.  It was Wilma’s wish to have the Institute name engraved on a leaf on the Tree of Life and the ladies are pleased that they were able to accomplish Wilma’s wish.
