REGISTERED RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST

 

We have a part-time vacancy for a Registered Radiology Technologist to work at our Little Current and Mindemoya hospital sites.  

 

 

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Registration with the C.M.R.T.O. and the C.A.M.R.T.
  • Registration with the O.A.M.R.T. is recommended
  • Must be willing to successfully complete a recognized course in Electrocardiology
  • Previous experience in a Radiology Department
  • Previous experience in performing E.C.G.’s and Holter Monitors is an asset
  • Previous experience with a PACS system
  • Ability to provide Ultrasound services is an asset

We have a group of 6 highly experienced physicians, all of whom are long-standing NOSM preceptors. You will spend time in ER, community and First Nations clinics and be guaranteed time off post call. The ER is attached to the clinic and hospital so there is always someone nearby to ask for advice or backup.

Remuneration is through the OMA Rural Locum Program which pays $850/clinic day plus travel expenses (within Ontario), travel days honoraria and accommodation. ER is supplemented through the Sessional Program plus extra benefits including THAS, LTC On-Call funding, shadow billing and some ER procedures are fee for service. Your accommodations will be first class, with a fully-furnished waterfront condominium overlooking the marina.
